His career combines corporate leadership with hands-on entrepreneurial execution, giving him a rare ability to build, scale, and transform commercial organizations in both mature and emerging markets.
He graduated from Istanbul’s prestigious Boğaziçi University with a degree in Business Administration. Following his studies, he began his professional journey at Unilever, managing key discount and supermarket chains and contributing to significant growth through strategic planning and S&OP alignment. He later joined Dell EMC, where he managed large telecom accounts and coordinated software and hardware deployments across complex enterprise environments. His corporate track continued at Doğuş Çay, where he led trade marketing, built new sales channels, drove product innovation, and played a pivotal role in doubling volume and tripling value in just two years.
In 2012, Koray transitioned into entrepreneurship. He founded Nettur Travel, designing high-impact incentive travel programs for corporate clients. His work in this sector strengthened his expertise in commercial campaign design and customer engagement. In 2017, he took on a far more ambitious venture by establishing Boğaziçi Meyve Inc., a 44,000 m² high-tech hydroponic strawberry greenhouse—one of the most advanced operations of its kind in Turkey. He managed the entire value chain, from procurement to export, achieved an 80% export rate, and successfully exited the business by selling it to a Kazakh investor.
After relocating to Germany with his family in 2021, Koray continued his professional journey in Europe. At PrimeArt GmbH, he managed the daily operations of a content production studio serving Zalando, leading a team of 35 and ensuring flawless delivery of 200–400 product articles per day. He later joined Kord GmbH as Sales & Operations Manager, taking full responsibility for commercial performance, forecasting, and operational oversight, and preparing the turnaround strategy for the company’s underperforming German subsidiary.
Fluent in English and steadily improving his German, Koray brings strong multicultural communication skills, a sharp commercial mindset, and an entrepreneurial approach to every project he leads. His ability to navigate diverse sectors, adapt to new markets, and build sustainable business structures makes him a valuable partner for companies aiming to grow internationally.
